Character Profiles:
Nick
Nick's clothes will be fresher than Bobby's and will be focused more on a "traditional detective". His trademark clothing item will be a leather jacket. The colouring won't have any fades. His clothing choice rarely changes meaning he is always identifiable within a crowd. Usually, he stays with unbranded clothing.
Bobby
Bobby keeps to a more worn/humble look. His coat is worn and jeans sun-bleached and covered in rips. He wears trainers almost all of the time and is always unshaven. His outfit is always mismatched and casual. Never formal unless at a ceremony. He has more of a worn look about him with his clothes but that is purely for appearances rather than anything else.
Vicki
Vicki is almost always seen with some sort of lab equipment. Be it a mini microscope or a lab coat full of pens. Even out shopping, she will wear her lab coat. Vicki will always have some sort of quirky item to pull out of her coat, towards the end of the show her coat will have an inside pocket to hold a taser.
Location Recce
Lighting
as it is a crime drama the lighting will be mostly low key. This creates a suspenseful atmosphere which is perfect for the show. The lighting will always be present and as the story is set in the UK the footage will have more of a greyer tone than America's due to weather during the filming time that has been scheduled.
Camera movement
Still, shots will be used a lot throughout the story and will be standard for the show. Tracking will also be used in conjunction with still shots to emphasise action or a key element within the show. Handheld shots and body cam shots will be used to produce a more natural feel. Body cams will be used within our chase scenes when officers are in uniform. The idea behind this is that the audience will feel slightly more involved with the story.
